One-to-one Intensive Courses

Business German or General German Courses

Depending on the objectives and wishes, the course content and topics are discussed individually in advance of the course. Possible topics include

• Written correspondence in German
• Customer conversations, sales talks
• Preparing and giving speeches and presentations (e.g. presentation techniques, rhetoric, body language)
• Conversation strategies (e.g. consulting or personnel interviews)

Connected with learning a foreign language is the area of intercultural communication, which is also addressed in our courses. The specifics of communication are considered, taking into account the different national customs.

Grammar lessons are of course always given according to the general level of German and the needs of the course participant.

Bookable with accommodation

International executives receive intensive German lessons at the Humboldt-Institut and, if desired, are accommodated in the institute in comfortable single rooms in the integrated guesthouse. This unique combination of learning and leisure ensures rapid language acquisition, as German is not only spoken in class, but also during meals and leisure time.

This package includes cultural, sports or community activities in the afternoons and on weekends, accompanied by Humboldt-Institut staff.

Included services

All German courses with accommodation include tuition, course material, accommodation, full board, daily leisure and cultural program, weekly excursions (excluding entrance fees) and a certificate.

German courses without accommodation include tuition, course materials and a certificate.

Timetable

Lesson times can be set by arrangement. Individual courses are also held on public holidays.

Course duration

Individual intensive courses can be booked for as little as one week.

Starting dates

The start dates of the individual intensive courses are flexible.
