Junior intensive courses in July and August close to Heidelberg; optional horseback riding course
 | Attending intensive courses, making the most of their leisure time and feeling great in beautiful natural surroundings. This is what students can do close to Brensbach in the area of Affhoellerbach, the youth course center of the district of Offenbach, where we are guests for three weeks. Affhöllerbach is situated directly on the forest edge on a mountain with a wonderful view of the surrounding nature park "Bergstrasse Odenwald", nestled in a gorgeous and varied landscape of low mountain ranges. The resort`s seclusion does not, however, prevent its students from getting to know the culture and history of such well-known towns as Heidelberg, Worms or Michelstadt.
 | The courses at Affhöllerbach are intensive junior courses of three weeks with 25 lessons per week.
The courses' emphasis is to lower the threshold of anxiety and to encourage pupils to speak German, to improve listening and speaking abilities and to practice reading and writing. The school seeks to create everyday situations for example through planned dialog games, so that all participants will have more and more fun in actively using their knowledge of the foreign language.
These courses serve levels A1 - C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference.

 | Our students live in modern buildings (bungalows), in friendly rooms with four beds. Each floor has its own bathrooms and showers. Many parents appreciate the fact that the buildings are particularly designed to meet children's needs and our juniors like the bright and spacious rooms they live in. Each building houses 20 to 25 children, i.e., groups do not become too big, an aspect that many of our young students especially like. Outside the buildings our students will find a large area that gives them many opportunities to relax and move around.
Our juniors will be served three main meals and two snacks every day.
 | Each day, a varied program with sports, games and excursions is organized by our supervisors for the students. The program includes paper-chases, barbecues, handicrafts, campfire, walks (daytime and evening), as well as numerous sports activities and parties. There are also excursions to Heidelberg, Worms, Michelstadt and other noteworthy sights.
Many sports activities are pursued in our own sports hall and this not only when the weather is bad. There is also volleyball, streetball, a sports field for football and there are outdoor table tennis facilities. On hot days, an outdoor swimming pool (5km away) keeps everyone cool.
An especially attractive offer is the possibility to take a ten-hour riding course (not included in our fees) at a riding school in Affhöllerbach.
Our social organizers encourage the pupils to join in the manifold activities which are included in the course fee. A reliable round-the-clock supervision is guaranteed seven days a week by our specialized female and male staff.
