Intensive courses from July to August in the metropolis with charm
 | Munich, the capital of Bavaria, picturesquely situated close to the Lower Alps, is not only world famous for its „Oktoberfest": Great museums like the old and the new „Pinakothek" (picture gallery), the German Museum, the Bavaria Film Studios or the Olympic Center have contributed as much to the fame and international atmosphere of this beautiful historic „metropolis with charm", as its immense cultural offer or the bustle of the „Marienplatz". Especially for young people, Munich offers an abundant repertoire of cultural events, concerts, shopping possibilities, sporting facilities, discos etc. Nonetheless the parents of our young course participants should not worry about sending their children into this big city, because first of all our team of leisure time coordinators ensures a reliable 24 hour supervision; second, Munich was able to preserve not only its charme of the days when it was a small Bavarian town, but also the tranquillity and safety.
 | In Munich we offer a three- or six-week-course with 30 lessons per week.
During these courses the young students can improve their knowledge of German in small groups of no more than ten students on average. Beginners can acquire basic knowledge of the German language. After a placement test each student attends a class according to his or her level. Through contact with German everyday life, through assignments and talks the students are stimulated and encouraged to put into practice what they have learned.
These courses serve levels A1 - C2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference.

 | Our students live in the Don Bosco youth hostel located near the Deutsches Museum in the center of town. Rooms are bright and cheerful and mainly contain 2 beds, some of them 3 to 4 beds. Showers and restroom facilities are available on all floors. Board consists of three main meals and one snack per day. Students can reach the Munich city center in just a few minutes on foot.
 | Munich offers a multitude of leisure activities which our supervisors will include in the daily program. The old part of the city is the busiest spot, while oasis of peace like the English Garden or the common greens along the Isar River invite to private outings in the sun. On Saturdays there will be excursions to the nearby Alps, to the Neuschwanstein Castle, or to the medieval cities of Nuremberg and/or Regensburg.
The Don Bosco youth hostel has its own athletic facilities where students can play soccer, volleyball and basketball. Ping-pong and foosball tables are also available at the center as well as an indoor swimming pool and a climbing wall. An outdoor pool, which of course we use when the weather is nice, is located just a few minutes away as well as tennis courts. Tuition does not include usage fees for facilities outside of the school, however.
Our staff guarantees a thorough and round the clock supervision.
