 | The venerable cathedral town Cologne, idyllically situated on the much extoled river Rhine, is a perfect example for the co-existence of millennia old history and the modern life of a progressive city. Founded as early as 38 B.C. it was the famous seat of the archbishops and an important Hanseatic City in the Middle Ages. Today’s town scape is characterized by the impressive Gothic cathedral. Cologne is a metropolis of art and culture, with over 30 museums and 120 art galleries. Especially in the summertime it offers a great variety of concerts, operas, dramas, musicals and open-air-events, and the Rhine attracts to take walks, bicycle trips or boat rides along its winding course.

 | In Cologne we offer two- and four-week courses with 30 lessons per week.
During these courses the young students can improve their knowledge of German in small groups of no more than ten students on average. Beginners can acquire basic knowledge of the German language. After a placement test each student attends a class according to his or her level. Through contact with German everyday life, through assignments and talks the students are stimulated and encouraged to put into practice what they have learned.
These courses serve levels A1 - C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference.
